The rules are:
- A new race starts whenever Mia ran 2km in her wheel
- The first marble to pass the finish line wins
- If no result is provided within a day since the round started, all bets are refunded
- 20% house edge, of which > 50% goes into next round as seed
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The race is 100% random. Thus, no one can predict the winning marble. But as we all are not satisfied with the status quo, feel free to challenge us! Inspect the historical race data here, train your machine learning model and predict the next race results. ;) Don’t forget to publish your work and let us know once you are successful!
It’s up to Mia to decide, when and how far she runs. Once the accumulated distance equals 2km a new race will start automatically.
Nothing. We let everything to be decided by chance. If a marble gets stuck, it gets stuck and we will not interfere. As long as at least one marble makes it through the finish line, everything is ok. The marble that goes first through the finish line wins. All the others do not matter to us. If all marbles get stuck or are blocked and none wins, we will refund all bets and a new round will be started.
Yes, you can! It is also possible to bet on the same marble multiple times to increase your stake. Until Mia finished her workout by reaching 2km and starts the race, you have time to place other bets. You can follow your own strategy while placing bets.If the red marble is your shoo-in but at the same time,you do not want to miss your chances with the green marble,you can bet e.g. 2 ETH on red and 1 ETH on green.
The odds are calculated by dividing the pool amount (sum of all bets) by the sum of all bets for a specific marble. This is called "parimutuel betting" (Google it, it’s a thing!) and is often used in gambling on horse racing.
The odds are only preliminary because each bet influences the odds. They are therefore fixed only when the race starts (after the last bet has been placed).
We take a 20% cut. But a large portion of our proceeds goes into the next round as seeding.
It will take a few minutes until you will have your profit on your account. This is depending on how many winning bets there were and how much congestion there is on the ethereum network. You can be sure to receive your profit before the next round starts.
You will receive it in the wallet you used to place the bet.
No. All placed bets are final.
A refund is possible only if the following two conditions are met
- 2 days have passed since the start of the latest round
- Mia failed to provide a valid outcome of the race
